Jasmine Crockett roasts 'slow' Marjorie Taylor Greene: 'She's not the brightest'

WASHINGTON (TND) — Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, on Thursday repeatedly jabbed the intelligence of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., while discussing her feud with the Republican on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The Democratic congresswomen engaged in a fiery exchange with Rep. Greene at a meeting of the House Oversight Committee in May. Video of the altercation went viral on social media, including Rep. Crockett's characterization of the Republican as a “bleach-blonde, bad-built butch body." The remarks later spurred a line of merchandise.

While discussing the spat Thursday, Rep. Crockett targeted Rep. Greene’s intelligence.

“It’s just that Marjorie is a little slow,” she said when asked what precipitated the argument.

The Texas Democrat continued by noting the hearing had been scheduled for 11 a.m. that day, but was delayed due to Rep. Greene’s appearance at former President Donald Trump’s New York hush money trial.

Some congressional Republicans, Rep. Crockett claimed, approached her in private after the meeting to applaud her for the insult. She went on to condemn “divisiveness” by Trump in his reelection campaign.

Kimmel then offered a series of insults to use against Rep. Greene in the future, including “Hitler-happy hate-hobbit” and “Hulk Hogan-headed honey baked ham and legs.”
