After regrouping with other members of the Vanguard, Zavala is still yet to be found and you are going head-on to search for him.
The main problem is that his location is currently unknown, so you will need to fight your way through enemies as you search for him.
The Witness may also be tempting Zavala wherever he is and you must make haste and find him as soon as possible.
Requiem is the fourth mission introduced in The Final Shape, with the first mission being a part of the introductory quest.
You will be able to start the Requiem Mission once you have reached quest step 9 of The Final Shape main quest.
Starting in The Blooming, you will need to make your way towards the waypoint while fighting past multiple enemies in the area.
You will eventually reach a large barrier that is blocking a statue and nearby is a Splinter that needs to be destroyed, which causes a Warder to appear.
Destroying the Warder will cause a glyph to appear where it was defeated and you will need to head back to where you destroyed the Splinter.
Head back to the barrier and you will find multiple glyphs in the area but you must only move over the one that is identical to the one dropped by the Warder.
After you have picked up the right glyph, the barrier will disappear and you will need to interact with the statue that the barrier was blocking.
After interacting with the statue, continue making your way to the waypoint where there will be multiple enemies that need to be defeated.
A Warder will once again appear, and you will need to repeat the process of defeating it and returning to the correct glyph to remove a nearby barrier.
This unlocks a huge gate in front of you, which you must now enter to continue making your way to The Seclusion, which is another area where the process needs to be repeated.
When you are in The Seclusion, you must first defeat the enemies in the area before a Splinter will appear, which you must destroy to spawn a Warder.
Defeat the Warder and match the glyphs like you previously did but this needs to be done twice now as there are two locks on the barrier.
Continue making your way to the next area and your character will become weak but will eventually regain their strength thanks to Ghost.
Proceed with making your way to the waypoint and you will reach a memory of a place where Zavala used to live with his family.
It is here that enemies will spawn, and you will need to fight the Pillar of Stillness, which has multiple phases that start when you damage it.
Reducing its health by one bar will cause it to become immune to damage and it will disappear before it reappears with more enemies.
Continue attacking the Pillar of Stillness until it is down to its last health bar, and it will become immune until you defeat the enemies that appear.
Head back to Zavala once the Pillar of Stillness has been defeated and the mission will come to an end after you have spoken with him.
Once you have spoken with Zavala, the mission will come to an end, and you will be rewarded with XP with possible other rewards.
Opening a Prismatic Chest that appears during this mission may provide you with Solar Aspect and Solar Aspect (Light) Abilities.
Locating Zavala may have been difficult, but you were luckily able to find him, which now makes your team complete.
Zavala was indeed tempted by The Witness, where he was offered to have his family given back to him but he still refused to give in.
Now that Zavala has returned with you to the campsite, the Vanguard needs to plan out their next move against The Witness.
